Educational Benefits
When you take courses toward a degree at an accredited university or college, Methodist Healthcare will reimburse 80% for tuition fees and book fees up to a maximum of $600 per semester ($1,800 annually). We’ll also offer you an educational loan up to $500 per semester, with repayment through payroll deduction during the semester. iStudySmart.com HCA partnered with iStudySmart.com, the nation's premier provider of online studies, to offer college courses online at a fraction of normal college tuition. You can use the program to supplement a college degree program at a local college or university or to earn an accredited online degree completely from your home computer. iStudySmart.com also offers online independent study courses to help you prepare for college credit exams such as CLEP, DANTES and ECE.
Nursing Degree Programs
Non-Nursing Degree Programs Wells Fargo Student Loan Program The Wells Fargo Student Loan Program can help you and your family members pay for all education-related expenses, even for the previous semester or year. You can borrow for private (K-12), undergraduate, and professional education. You can apply anytime during the year and can be pre-approved to borrow up to $25,000, while taking up to 15 years to repay the loan. The program will help you pay for all education-related expenses, including tuition, room and board, books, supplies or a personal computer. Intern with Methodist Healthcare. Our hospitals have formal internship opportunities in several nursing fields: critical care, medical surgical, neonatal intensive care, pediatric, pediatric ICU and perioperative. CEUs at work. Methodist Healthcare has an extensive educational department and staff offering a variety of courses that will help you meet competency requirements and obtain CEU credits. We also provide a designated educator for each unit. The educator will help you assess educational needs, keep competency skills updated and take additional courses to assist in your career advancement.
