Methodist Healthcare offers you and your dependents (including spouse, child, common law and domestic partner) a choice of four Humana health plans (one HMO, three PPO). The plans have different features, premium contribution levels, co-pays and deductibles. You will also receive discounts when you choose Methodist (or other HCA facilities) for your family’s care. Your Human Resources Benefits counselor can help you find the health coverage that best meets your budget and your needs. You are eligible for medical coverage after one full month of employment.
Methodist Healthcare supports your personal efforts to maintain health and fitness with reimbursement for some of the expenses you incur in your pursuit, ranging from $75 to $375 annually, based on certain criteria. We offer a robust Wellness program for all employees which includes smoking cessation, weight management, spiritual well-being, and more!
You can choose between three dental plans with varied premiums and benefits. The plans offer full coverage for preventative care, and significant discounts on other dental services, including orthodontia. You are eligible for dental coverage after one full month of employment.
Methodist offers an optional vision plan that helps you make sure you have regular examinations and assistance with the lenses that sharpen your focus on the world. Coverage is available after one full month of employment.

Lasik laser surgery has enabled ophthalmologists to correct many vision problems that once required glasses or contact lenses. Methodist Healthcare employees benefit from discounts on lasik surgery if you elect to have it done.

Working can be stressful, and life can throw you unexpected curves. Methodist Healthcare’s Employee Assistance Program provides a free confidential assessment, counseling and referral program that can help you and your family solve problems that may affect your health, family life and/or job performance.
When illness keeps you out.
When accident, illness or other medical problem exhausts your Paid Time Off, Methodist Healthcare has an extended illness benefit that can help. We want you to get well, and get back to us – because you’re important to the mission. This time is accrued starting on your first day of employment.
Just in case.
If a serious accident or illness keeps you from working, Methodist Healthcare can help provide financial security. Short Term Disability can begin after a 14-day waiting period from the date of disability. Long Term Disability coverage is offered after 5 months of disability.
