    • We are seeking a Neuro Rapid Response Team Register Nurse for Methodist Medical Hospital to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.       What You Will Do In Your Role:

      The RN Rapid Response Team (RRT) will respond to all RRT’s, Code Blues, Heart Alerts, Stroke Alerts, Sepsis alerts and any other patient care emergency. The RN RRT will perform surveillance by identifying the patients at risk for complications or becoming seriously ill by using proactive approach, making rounds frequently to collaborate with the bedside nurses as part of consultation without intimidating the bedside nurses. Consistent and routine presence of RN RRT will provide nurse’s support, clinical knowledge and expertise to build trust and familiarity amongst each other. The RN RRT should take the role of teacher both during and after the event in order to best help the inexperienced nurses.

      What qualifications you will need:

      ·Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.

      ·Must have 3-5 years of recent experience in an ICU or an ER

      ·Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)

      ·Current American Heart Association BLS Certification, ACLS , NIH Stroke scale

      ·Charge Nurse experience preferred

    What qualifications you will need:

    · Graduate of an accredited program of nursing: diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate program.

    · Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit, which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

    · Must have 3-5 years of recent experience in an ICU or an ER.

    · Charge nurse experience Preferred

    · Required: Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.

    · Required: Current ACLS, NIH stroke scale
