Job Summary and Qualifications
- Coordinates staffing for one or more hospitals within MHS on a per shift basis: 7a & 7p. Effectively balances and disperses nursing resources throughout nursing units to provide appropriate safe staffing, pending Nurse Administrator approval. Communicates closely with Nurse Administrator, Patient Placement Center, Contract Labor providers, Nurse Directors and Charge nurses to make effective staffing decisions. Routinely reviews schedules/staffing needs, books nurses for adequate coverage, documents and tracks time and attendance, verifies nursing unit schedules, and utilizes provided software to aid with processes throughout the shift.
- High School Graduate / GED
- Experience in a medical setting with medical terminology.
