Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

  • You will administer Oxygen Therapy and Aerosol Therapy via the various devices available on a daily basis
  • You will administer Airway Pressure Therapy on a weekly basis
  • You will instruct patient and setup Incentive Breathing Device on a daily basis
  • You will perform Chest Percussion and Postural Drainage by hand manipulation or mechanical percussor on a daily basis
  • You will document all rounds and complete documentation and related charges in Meditech in a thorough and expeditious manner on a daily basis
  • You will develop departmental work schedules assuring minimal coverage guidelines are met on a monthly basis

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or Neonate Resuscitate, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Respiratory Therapist - Non Registered, or State Registered Respiratory Therapist

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
