Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician for Methodist Hospital Atascosa to assist our RN’s in providing all patients with high quality, efficient care. Take the first step in joining a team that works hard to support each other by applying now!

  What You Will Do In Your Role:

  • • You will enthusiastically and compassionately perform any/all delegated patient care activities including (but not limited to) obtaining vital signs, height and weight, intake and output, calorie counts and simple, non-sterile dressing changes
    • You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
    • You will provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
    • You will demonstrate team work and adaptability
    • You will have accountability for delivering quality patient care services
    • You will have accountability for providing a safe patient environment

    What qualifications you will need:

  • · While no experience is required, our ideal Patient Care Technician will possess the ability to provide care and empathy in all interactions and must be able to advocate for a patient- and-family-centered approach in all decisions and actions

    · Must be at least 18 years of age
