Job Summary and Qualifications
The Carpenter, Building Tech IV is responsible for the repair, modification and fabrication of furniture, shelves, walls, floors, floor covering, wall covering, special fixtures and other devices made of wood, plastic, metal, cement, plaster and fabric. The Carpenter is responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of firewalls, fire doors and associated hardware. The Carpenter, Building Tech IV is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the hospital buildings as pertains to carpentry functions. The Carpenter, Building Tech IV will do minor painting throughout the facility as required. The Carpenter, Building Tech IV will maintain and adequate supply of materials, through inventory control, to complete tasks. The Carpenter, Building Tech IV may be asked to move, install or modify fixtures. The Carpenter, Building Tech IV will be responsible for furniture repair within the facility. The Carpenter, Building Tech IV may do other work as assigned by the Operations Manager.
