The Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator is responsible for the day to day coordination of an assigned unit for a designated shift. The Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator keeps nurse manager abreast of concerns with staffing, employees, patient care and ensures care is consistent with the philosophy, mission and values of the hospital, and the Department of Nursing. As an experienced nurse, this position serves as a resource for the shift and facilitates the orientation process for new employees. During the assigned shift, the Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator provides patient care, makes staff assignments and coordinates resources to provide the best outcomes for patient care.
Licensure: Candidate must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program BSN preferred
Experience: Experience in Telemetry or PU
Basic Cardiac Life Support and ACLS
