As a professional Registered Nurse (RN) at Methodist, you would serve as an advocate for the patient and their family. We are looking for RNs who have a passion for serving humanity and want to deliver exceptional care to those they serve.
Critical factors to your success include:
- Understanding the role of the RN in direct patient care at the bedside within the Methodist Healthcare System.
- Provide safe, compassionate and coordinated patient-centered care within the staffing model established for the patient population served.
- Function effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect and shared decision making to achieve quality patient care and outcomes.
- Provide safe care while following system processes, regulatory requirements and outcome data.
- Utilize information and technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making.
- You should be a graduate of an accredited associates or baccalaureate Degree from a professional nursing program
- If you have a BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing that is preferred
- You should also have a current RN License in the State of Texas or Active Multi-State RN Compact License, or GN Permit. (Employees with an RN Multi-State Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date.)
- BLS Certification required -AHA or Red Cross
