Seeking a Transplant Contract and Revenue Analyst to join our team. The Transplant Analyst is responsible for the review, maintenance and negotiation of pre-evaluation and global service agreements.   He/she will be responsible for analyzing provider payments to ensure compliance with fair market evaluations.   The Contract and Revenue Analyst is responsible for the oversite of contract payments and disbursements for both insurance and provider contracts.   Duties include negotiating, auditing and clarifying contract terms with providers.  Additionally, the Transplant Contract and Revenue Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and auditing payor and provider payments, contracts and revenue for transplant account reimbursement and Medicare cost report activities.
What you will do in this role:
  • Generate, review, and maintain contracts as well as conduct routine follow-up to ensure accuracy, appropriate content and outstanding concerns. Ensure the contract database is accurate and up to date. Initiate negotiation of contracts 3-6 months prior to expiration date of the transplant contract.  
  • Ensure compliance with legal department requirements to include services provided by or to physicians or physician owned companies, services provided by or to non-physician companies, and other contracting situations such as training agreements, affiliations, memorandums of understanding and other similar situations.
  • Communicate both in writing and in person with counterparties, as well as internal project teams, to facilitate contract and payment completion. Attend meetings to assess contract and revenue project status and take detailed notes to keep stakeholders abreast of delays. 
  • Oversee, audit and review payments made by global and non-global insurance providers by analyzing transplant reimbursement. Manage global billing processes as required for accurate billing per insurance contract.
  • Act as a liaison between providers, physician group, accounting, the insurance company and the legal department to ensure claims are processed and recouped accordingly.  Coordinate payment, billing and recoupment processes with the billing department as required.  
  • Complete financial analysis reports as designated for month end. Collects abstracts and reports financial data as requested or directed by program, hospital, division or corporate administration.
  • Assists with E-requests, financial analysis and generate projection and revenue reports as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Business or Science or 8 years of experience in a healthcare related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in hospital revenue cycle and/or  transplant operations.
