We are seeking a(an) Nuclear Medicine Technician for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures according to establish policies and procedures, methods and standards to provide quality patient care.

Supervisor: Practice Manager

Duties Include but Not Limited to:

  • Document patient information and perform other non-clinical duties to support procedure completion
  • Perform all aspects of radiopharmaceutical preparations for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures and disposes of radioactive trash according to department policy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission standards.
  • Perform imaging and therapeutic procedures according to requirements
  • Maintain appropriate supplies and a clean, organized work environment
  • Participate in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of Nuclear Medicine
  • Must read, understand, and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures
Education

  • Graduate of accredited school of Nuclear Medicine

Experience

  • Experience in Nuclear Medicine ( may include experience in formal NM formal training program)
  • Prefer three years' experience in nuclear medicine department
