We are seeking Critical Care Mentorship Resource Nurse who supports high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The Critical Care Mentorship Resource Nurse supports multiple units. The Critical Care Mentorship Resource Nurse provides guidance and education on the hospital’s standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.

What You Will Do In Your Role:
The Critical Care Mentorship Resource Nurse supports high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The Resource Nurse supports multiple units. The Resource Nurse provides guidance and education on the hospital’s standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
You will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- 2+ years as a RN
- Preferred – Master Degree in Nursing with 1+ year in leadership & Preceptor
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Meditech knowledge helpful.
- Excellent communication skills Needed
