As part of the HCA Healthcare family, our colleagues work hard to help others achieve a healthier tomorrow. But, to be at their best, they also need to take care of themselves. That’s why we offer a fair, smart and competitive benefits package that includes health and wellness benefits, retirement savings support, education assistance, time away from work and much more.
HCA Healthcare rolls out new colleague benefits
As technology advances and regulations shift, the healthcare industry is rapidly changing. The one altruistic constant for HCA Healthcare’s more than 270,000 colleagues is the desire to improve our patients’ lives through compassionate, innovative care. Inspired by this patient-centered culture, HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million to our incredible team members.
Medical benefits are available to full-time and part-time employees. HCA Healthcare shares the cost of coverage for full-time employees. All medical plan options have coverage for office visits, preventive care, prescriptions (including free generic drugs for most plans), and inpatient and outpatient care. Many of the most common services require just a low copay and the deductible does not apply. Telemedicine services are also available for most plans.
Financial assistance with healthcare coverage is available through the Employee Health Assistance Fund (EHAF) for colleagues who meet eligibility criteria.
Mental health benefits include coverage for counseling, psychotherapy, applied behavioral analysis, substance abuse treatment, inpatient and outpatient services and emergency services.
