The Methodist Healthcare New Graduate Nurse Residency Program is focused on the application of nursing knowledge and skills needed for fluency in transitioning to nursing practice in the respective settings. The program includes clinical practicum with an assigned qualified preceptor and systematic instruction.

You do not need to have your GN permit or RN License to apply. However, in order to participate in the residency, we must be able to verify your GN permit on the Texas Board of Nursing website prior to the start of the residency.
Important Note: Job offers for the Residency programs will vary according to business need. There will be only one start date per residency. All specialty areas will start on same day, but length of residency will vary depending on specialty.

There will only be one job posting per Residency Specialty cluster for a total of 3 postings. Please only apply to the residency posting for the specialty cluster that is your first choice, do not apply to all 3 positions. Residency positions offered vary and are subject to change.
